Starts, runs and drives
Sporting a stylish 6 light body, this Rover comes to us from a deceased estate.
The paintwork is tidy overall, although we note that all four doors are bubbling and need attention.
The interior appears to have been refinished with a blue velour material.
There is some paperwork with the car including a V5c, bills for work carried out in the early to mid-2000s, old MOT certificates that appear to back up the present mileage, and some auction documentation when it was previously sold in 2016.
The chromework has some tarnishing and there is a bill on file for three hub caps and the rear boot badge being electroplated in 2016.
The 6-cylinder engine starts on the key and sounds strong. The Rover drives and brakes - although it is safe to assume further recommissioning will be required, as it has been in storage for a number of years.
Overall, this is a tidy example of the marque ripe for further recommissioning / restoration.
