CFB 856V was taken to a marque specialist in 2016 as a fair conditioned running driving example, shortly after arrival it was found structurally poor in the common aeras for a vehicle of this age. The late owner gave the go ahead for works to begin, the targa roof section was stripped, boot completely stripped and the rear axle and suspension removed. £21, 000 was spent bringing the underside to a good standard and rebuilding the rear axle, suspension and brakes, unfortunately, the roof section was never attended to due to other projects taking place. Since June 2017 CFB 856V has been in dry storage awaiting completion until the late owner sadly passed away in 2023.
