On 17th December 2007, after winning the WRC’s Constructors’ Title for a second successive year, Ford confirmed that it would be building an ‘RS’ version of the Focus Mk2. Unveiled in ‘concept car’ guise at the following year’s British Motor Show but not entering production until January 2009, the resultant design was hailed by the Blue Oval thus: “It's as close as you'll come to driving a full-spec rally car”. Although resolutely front-wheel drive, the newcomer’s combination of a Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing LSD, sophisticated ESP and innovative RevoKnuckle front suspension meant its handling / roadholding were exemplary. Uprated with a bigger turbo, more efficient intercooler, forged crankshaft and silicon-aluminium pistons, the proven 2. 5-litre five-cylinder engine developed 301bhp / 325lbft; outputs sufficient for 0-60mph in 5. 9 seconds and 163mph. Only available in Ultimate Green, Frozen White and Performance Blue, a mere 11, 500 or so Focus Mk2 RS cars were sold worldwide (with 4, 000 coming to the UK).
This example is a 2009 Ford Focus RS finished in Frozen White and optioned with the more expensive Lux Pack 2 option.

First registered on 12th December 2009 and now showing 58, 524 on the odometer with 6 former keepers. We also have the full book pack, complete with service booklet containing 13 stamps, most recently on 28th May 2024. The cambelt and water pump were done less than 5, 000 miles ago. A bundle of invoices for parts and maintenance are also supplied in the history file.
Outside the car presents superbly well, the Frozen White paintwork is in remarkable condition for its age as are the alloy wheels, which appear to be unmarked. The mileage is commensurate with the interior which appears to show no obvious scuffs, marks, or tears in the upholstery and minimal wear on the steering wheel and gear knob. This one really has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated.
A straight example, showing a modest 58, 000 miles and superb condition inside and out. Be sure not to miss out, as they are sure to continue to rise.
