EXTERIOR
The presence of this Alpina B3 is undeniable with the G21’s sharp and defined lines enhanced to create an elegant but purposeful form. Having covered just over 28k miles from new condition of the car is outstanding – with the paint finish displaying a radiant shine in majestic Alpina Grun II metallic. Optional black finish shadow line trim includes the window surrounds and roof rails, and with no deko graphic set the sleek design of this Touring is left uninterrupted throughout.

INTERIOR
Continuing the exclusive Alpina feel the interior demonstrates a level of fit and finish superior to anything even the M-division can produce. There is subtle branding throughout with sills, seats, laser etched piano black trim and the gorgeous Lavalina leather steering wheel stitched in Alpina’s racing colours of green and blue. Stunning extended Ivory White hide adorns the doors, lower dashboard and seats to create a light, luxurious feel to the space emphasised further by the panoramic sunroof. Further luxuries come in the form of embossed heated memory front seats and BMW Professional media package with I-drive 5 software inclusive of Apple Car Play.
Staying true to its origins this example features the traditional blue instrument cluster and Alpina build plaque which sits proudly on the centre console.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The B3’s twin-turbocharged 3. 0-litre petrol engine is based heavily on BMW M’s S58 unit – the same inline six-cylinder that powers the M3 and M4; only the second time Alpina has opted for an engine from M division rather than one from BMW’s standard line-up. The car adopts a thoroughly different character with new turbochargers; retaining the same housings as the M3’s but running bespoke internals including flow-optimised low-inertia turbine wheels to boost induction. A redesigned air intake, new cooling system, Bosch ECU and an Alpina-specific exhaust system complete the unique improvements.
Pushed through a rapid 8-speed automatic gearbox, with manual Switchtronic software, Allrad all wheel drive and a factory fiited LSD 0-60mph takes just under 4 seconds whilst top speed is an unrestricted 188mph.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Classic Ronal option is the purists choice; an evolution of a timeless wheel design that presents as arguably one of the finest ever OEM wheels produced. These 20 inch forged examples provide the ultimate balance of comfort and style; presenting unmarked they are wrapped in premium Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber with plenty of tread remaining.
Further evidence of the Buchloe engineers driving focus can be found in the B3s suspension with bespoke Alpina springs, anti-roll bars and bushes alongside a softer compression and stiffer rebound worked into the standard m-sport adaptive damping system.
Brakes are also upgraded with a high performance option with drilled 395mm front discs and 4 piston callipers, whilst the rear is fitted with 345mm discs and 2 piston calipers.
HISTORY FILE
This launch specification B3 Touring was first registered in January of 2022 and has gone on to be serviced on time each year with the main dealer;
