Porsche produced just 1, 250 examples of the Boxster 25 Years, and various articles and reports online will give you slightly different figures as to how many landed on our shores. According to howmanyleft. co. uk (if you haven’t come across this site before, you can thank us later after you’ve wasted hours looking up your motoring back catalogue) there are 106 of these striking Boxsters in the UK. Of those, just 41 are blessed with an extra pedal, forgoing Porsche’s clever PDK transmission for the all-engaging manual ‘box.
Fewer still finished in GT Silver, surely the ‘proper’ colour for one of these, being the shade used on the original 1993 concept car. Contrasting Neodyme accents appear on the front bumper, side intakes and 20” wheels, all finished off with a lovely embossed red fabric roof. Inside, the gorgeous Bordeaux Red leather is complimented with an aluminium interior package.
The car you see here was treated to a full body PPF coating when new, and has been loved dearly by its two former keepers meaning it’s still in superb condition throughout. We could find only one small chip in that PPF on the bonnet, an easy thing to put right should the next owner be a true perfectionist. Wheels unmarked, tyres in good order, interior well-kept… it’s all as you’d expect for an enthusiast-owned collectible from Stuttgart.
We’ve already mentioned the full PPF, but this Boxster also features the following equipment; Stolen Vehicle Tracking, PASM, 18-Way Adaptive Sports Seats – Heated, Homelink Garage Door Opener, BOSE Surround Sound, Electric Folding & Auto Dimming Mirrors, Heated Steering Wheel, among other things.
Supplied new in 2022 and serviced by the same Porsche Centre in March 2024, this Boxster 25 Years comes with the balance of its Porsche GB warranty, wants for nothing and is ready to enjoy.
Let’s end with the numbers - 400 horse power, 0-60 in 4. 5 seconds, 4 litres of flat-six goodness and don't forget the best bit... three pedals. Utterly joyous.
