Description
Sunbeam Alpine sports. Although a Mark IV, it now has the 1725cc engine of the Mark V. This was done a few years ago when the car underwent a decent degree of resto work. All solid and was firing and huffing and puffing when it came to me a few months ago. However I did notice that the twin carbs were SUs and they have now been removed and are in the boot. Those with more mechanical knowledge than me (that's not difficult!) tell me that it needs a pair of Strombergs and all will be well. Fair enough. But I don't fix them. I find them, advertise and re-home them. That's the way I have worked since my classic car business began 26 years ago. Thus, selling as a project.
There are dozens of photos of the resto work from four years ago showing the car stripped down to the bare bones.

I don't sell "second hand" cars; I sell extremely old vehicles which are, in the main, motoring antiques. Viewing is always encouraged so that you can see what you are getting. Your opinion and expectations may vary from mine. Then again, you could be in total agreement as the majority of my customers have been for the past 26 years. At the moment, the youngest vehicle in stock is 33-years-old and the oldest is 90!
Thanks, Martin.
