starting with the all important mechanical upgrades on the Traveller.
She has been fitted with a 1275cc A series engine and larger carb than standard to give her more power and help keep up with modern traffic.
As well as this the gearbox has been upgraded to a five speed type 9 box allowing for higher top end cruising on dual carriage ways and motorways.
Both very common upgrades but usually very costly to get carried out.
She has also had a servo fitted assisted disc brakes allowing for more stopping power to accomodate the extra horsepower,
An alternator has been fitted for improved charging, electronic ignition for improved reliability.
Gauges to keep an eye on oil pressure and water temp and a 12v socket for phone / sat nav.
Given all the above she drives like a dream pulls like a train and stops on a six pence and can be used as a modern car would without a problem.
Structurally the car is free from rust or rot underneath and is very solid.
Her Maroon B body work is in nice clean order and has a lovely shine, her ash frame is in very good condition too as is her chromework.
Interior wise the Cherokee red interior is very nice indeed with good seats and trims with no rips or tears.
The headliner, carpets and cards are also nice and clean making the cockpit a lovely place to be.
Overall this Traveller is a very tidy example that certainly stands out in terms of quality.
But also has a massive upgrade package making her an absolute pleasure to drive and capable of either commuting or longer journeys.
