Ultra Scarce bike, 1982 was best and last year of the air cooled KX250.
The heavily revised 82 model featured a new semi double cradle frame, new 43mm dia air forks, a hydraulic front disc brake, totally revised Uni - Trak rear suspension, a stronger gold swing arm and gold rims. It shared its new centre exhaust port engine, with the KDX250 Enduro, but with different porting for more top end power and a 5 speed gear box, verses the 6 speed of the KDX250.
These bikes received excellent press reviews and the 82 model won many events.
This example was sold new to Britain, one of what is believed to be less than 50 bikes sold here. Very few have survived.
