Finished in Brilliant Silver with Grey leather, a classic colour combination for a Mercedes, this represents a great opportunity to own one of the best cars that Mercedes ever produced and this example sets itself well above other offerings on the market today. First registered by Mercedes dealer Portfield in Chichester in September 2000 to a Mr D House who kept it for 14 years and treated to a life of luxury throughout his ownership. The second owner kept it for 7 years and also treated it with respect.
The car comes with all its original invoices and relevant paperwork, and it would appear that Mr House even took up the offer from Mercedes to collect his car from the factory in Germany, a nice thing to do. The invoice for the car states it had a price of £72, 523. 03 which includes some very well thought out and desirable extras to the cost of £4, 990. 20. These include multi-contour front seats, Command control and display system, Climatised seats to the front, Keyless-Go, Mercedes carpet mats and a tracker system.
This is a great time to acquire a great piece of German engineering before the prices of these wonderful cars rises, as we are sure they will in time. This car has been part of a substantial Mercedes collection and has recently had a recommissioning bill of £900 to bring it up to scratch along with a fresh MOT. Such is the care that the vendor has took of this car, as he wanted it to be as good as it could be for the new custodian.
