Description
Not only fun to look at, but also very special to drive! This JZR Sports three-wheeler is a wonderful driver's car due to its low weight and powerful Honda CX500 engine. JZR (John Ziemba Restorations) is a British manufacturer of traditionally designed three-wheelers, usually sold as a kit. The early Morgan Aero three-wheelers were used as a source of inspiration. The result is a particularly fun and affordable three-wheeler with a rock-solid power source, the Honda CX500 engine.
This JZR Sports was built in 2010 to 2011 and registered in the United Kingdom in 2012. The car came to the Netherlands about 5 years later. The frame consists of a square steel tube chassis with a galvanized base plate and side panels. The front suspension is largely from Ford. Originally this JZR was in a yellow body colour, but since the paintwork was so poor upon arrival, we decided to completely respray the car in a beautiful Ford Cosworth colour blue. It gives this JZR an extra sporty look and the colour fits perfectly with the aluminium-coloured front mudguards and the various chrome trim parts. For extra easy entry, a left door has also been mounted.
This JZR is still in very good condition, both technically and optically. A large part of the history (invoices, English MOT reports, etc.) is present, as well as the original construction manual. The interior is also still in very good condition. The upholstery has been completely renewed and the dashboard is also still in very neat condition. All instruments work properly. This JZR Sports is also equipped with a reverse gear.
Driving is great! It is difficult to find the right words for this, but it is a wonderful experience! This JZR provides a particularly pure driving experience due to the perfect road holding. The brakes feel solid and good, the steering is direct and smooth and the shifting is also very nice and comfortable. In short, lots of fun with this affordable three-wheeler!
