We are extremely proud to offer this low mileage and very well looked after example of the iconic Clio 182 Trophy! This particular example has a low mileage of just 85, 000 miles, comes with a comprehensive service history including several documented timing belt / cambelt changes, with the latest being completed on 23/ 08/ 23 at just 83, 836 miles. All the original Trophy specific items remain in place, from those lovely Recaro’s with their individually numbered plaque, the factory fitted Turini alloy wheels, ‘Trophy’ decals and of course, those all important and much coveted Sachs dampers, are all present and correct. This particular example also benefits from still proudly wearing it’s original supplying main dealers’ number plates front and rear, a nice touch. It’s evident that this particular Trophy has been very well looked after and sympathetically enjoyed. It remains mostly standard, with the exception of a Scorpion RS192 performance exhaust system, which boosts the aural character of the engine and adds a few extra horsepower. The rubber exhaust mounts have also been upgraded as these are a known weak point and often fail. All four factory fitted Turini alloys are completely unmarked and wrapped in top quality, matching Yokohama AD08 RS tyres, not only are they a fantastic tyre, they also give the Trophy a really purposeful look. Moving inside, the factory fitted Recaro’s are immaculate, as is the rest of the interior, clearly never smoked in, everything, including the stereo remains original and factory fresh. (The steering wheel has been professionally re-trimmed in a better quality leather, as the original quality isn’t great.) Having been very well maintained mechanically, it’s no surprise this Trophy drives superbly. The 2. 0 16v engine bursts into life, a really nice smooth power delivery, everything still feels lovely and ‘tight’ and those remarkable Sachs dampers demonstrate why these are held in such high regard, particularly on a British B-road! This trophy had had just 4 former keepers, and comes supplied with it’s original literature pack, both original remote keys and a good history file. This really is a lovely example, exceptionally clean, an appreciating modern classic that’s ready to be enjoyed! Deserves a good home, needs to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated!! Sadly, we’ll never see cars like this again….!
