This stunning 1952 Series MM 2 door saloon is a bit of a break from the norm at WRCC, its not very often that we have earlier models in stock.
We have to say that this little Empire green example is an absolute pearl in terms of originality and charm.
Body wise the Minor still has her high cut rear wings fitted in good condition and the elusive split screen chrome is also still present.
There is the odd imperfection here and there but in this case it only adds to the cars character.
The paint work has shined up well and there is no serious bubbling or rot she just looks like a 70 year old in very good nick for her age!
Structurally the car is very good and although there has been some good quality repairs in her lifetime, she is mostly original including the Nuffield body plate on the front tie plate.
Mechanically her Side valve engine ticks along like a little sewing machine and her drive train is remarkably smooth.
Her brakes pull her up as they should and there are no knocks or bangs from the suspension.
As with all sidevalve models she may take you a little longer to get where you need to be, but she will get you there with a smile on your face!
Interior wise she is mostly original and again in great order for a 70 year old car that has not had a full resto.
Yes there is surface rust, yes there is the odd mark on the headliner or tears in the seats but in our opinion it adds to her charm.
Without using the dreaded classic car dealer P word, she is aged to perfection, and one we would gladly keep at WRCC if we had the space.
