This 2001 V6 S-Type was in the care of its late custodian for fifteen years, during which time it was used only sparingly, for ‘Sunday best’, and was called upon for bride delivering duties at two weddings. The motor car is described as being in good overall condition and from the file we see that it has been maintained and serviced although used infrequently, having covered less than 550 miles in the last decade. The bodywork and paint finish are tidy, there are no known mechanical issues and the interior is smart with good leather upholstery. The Jaguar has recently passed its MOT test and the odometer reading of 53317 miles is considered correct.
Drive belts were renewed in 2013 and a new ignition coil, new radiator and hoses were installed in 2016. In 2021, an oil change was carried out and the alternator belt, rear ABS sensors, rear brake discs and pad, wiper motor, front drop links and steering track rod ends were all replaced. No expense has been spared on this S-Type, which has been serviced and maintained well throughout the current ownership.
