For Sale '90 T25/ T3 Westfalia Atlantic Syncro
At Resto Haus, we've earnt the reputation for marketing some very rare & special models & I was recently contacted by a serious collector of some of the last T25/ T3 made.
Production of the T25 model ended in July 1990 this one was built in April of that year. Westfalia built a limited edition model known as the Atlantic which was aimed at people who intended to use the bus all year round or in winter conditions as it came in standard form with double glazing and an Eberspacher night heater. There are very few of these models left & just to make this bus even rarer, its the hugely desirable 4 wheel drive Syncro of which we believe only 16 were ever produced & we have 3 of them, all together in one place !!
So as you can see this is the elevating roof model, which offers a hard base double roof bed. Wearing the big bumper and side planks, together with the "Carat" alloy wheels.
Finished in LA3E (9312) Cherry Red (Kirschrot) (with red roof)) with those great Atlantic decals it (these have been hand painted ) Open the cab doors and your greeted by the lovely captain sets with their folding armrests & are even heated. The passenger seat also swivels to face the rear , when camping.
Its powered by the 2. 1 petrol engine through its 5 speed box.
Slide back the door to reveal the very complete Westfalia camping interior, which incidentally still has every original cushion and door card in the exclusive Atlantic upholstery.
The conversion has a Waeco compressor fridge, twin gas hob, sink, Truma water heater, Ebersacher diesel parking heater . It has an underslung gas tank, double glazing through the rear with opening front sections in the pop top which is great in the summer. You have the Westy swing out table to serve the double rock'n'roll seat. The list of features goes on & on.
It really is a special bus, overall the bodywork is in reasonable condition , although some repairs have been done showing filler and sub standard paintwork. This of course gives you a great opportunity to buy a super rare bus, at a lower than average price & over the years you can either enjoy as it is or improve & increase your investment return ? She has the added advantage of power steering & drives very well. It arrived from Norway into a private collection, where it has been stored in his facility.
