Description
Here's a bargain-priced Splitscreen, that has been enjoyed by the current owners for the last 6 years. They are only now selling as they've lost their storage.
It was originally a 1966 11 window kombi. Which at some point in its past had the rear side windows added to create a faux 13 window.
It also had the deluxe beltline trim added and polished safari windows.
To compliment this it wears a 3 bow polished Westfalia style roof rack and some period front spots .
It's evident that some work has been done to her over the years and perhaps not as original and there's definitely filler present and the odd spot of bubbling as can be seen in the pictures... but that hasn't stopped her being loved and at Bay window money.
The interior compliments the paintwork colours, being finished in cream vinyl with red piping.
The wood work used to create the cabinets is a nice golden oak colour .
You have a full width rock'n'roll bed with 3 lap belts and opposite this is a 2 seater bench with a lovely cabinet, which incorporates an ice bucket and champagne flutes, to give you the opportunity to earn some upkeep money doing a few weddings.
She's lowered on dropped spindles and runs a 1600cc engine. So nips along quite nicely.
It's on the market for a very sensible £18, 995 to reflect her imperfections and ready to make the new custodians smile and love her.
We're based close to the beautiful golden sandy beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton and just a stones throw from the rolling Exmoor hills. So the perfect place to visit whilst choosing your ideal classic Volkswagen.
