We are pleased to be able to offer this Audi S2 Coupe for sale on behalf of one of our long-term storage clients. It is finished in black with a dark grey leather interior and has the following factory specification (from the sticker in the boot)
German LHD version
3B 2. 2L 5 cylinder engine
Leather steering wheel
Alloy spare wheel
Sunroof deletion

It has been lightly modified in period to RS2 specification as a lot of these cars were and features:
RS2 turbo charger, manifold and intercooler
RS2 6 speed gearbox
Sport Quattro rear exhaust section (from the swb 44 model)
Porsche 993/ RS2 wing mirrors
RS2 style front bumper
Porsche front brake calipers
MTM 3B engine management system
17" Rial alloy wheel set
The above are reckoned on helping the car generate 300 - 320 bhp.
We have recently carried out a minor recommissioning in our workshop consisting of the below work:
Replacement timing belt and water pump
Replacement fuel pump
New battery
Replace leaking relief valve seal on power steering pump
Oil service
Replacing ABS sensors to eradicate warning light
MOT test
We are told that the car had a replacement speedometer around the time of the modifications as it had just failed (in 2002 or so as can be seen from the previous MOT test records) and since then the speedometer itself functions but the milometer does not count up - this is likely relating to the replacement 6 speed gearbox that was fitted. We have not investigated further but believe that the car has covered around 100k KM (62k miles) which is born out by its totally rust free condition and general condition of the bodywork and interior. It has never been welded and is clean and tidy as to be expected for a car that has been dry stored for many years. It drives well with no smoke from the engine or problems with the drivetrain and would certainly benefit from more recommissioning such as a the rest of the service items / new tyres / replacement brake discs and pads etc.
Sadly the current owner who has stored it for many years with us has now fallen into bad health and cannot see himself returning to the UK for the car and so has asked us to sell it for him. We have the original Audi book pack/ wallet with the car but sadly the service history and original alloy wheels have gone missing.
