The carbon fibre framed 1299 Superleggera was unveiled in 2017, even lighter than its predecessor and again only 500 examples produced and as before, all 500 units were sold out before production commenced
Built around a brand new, ultra-lightweight, carbon fibre monocoque, carbon fibre wheels, seat, body panels, adjustable Ohlins front and rear suspension and a host of Titanium parts
Capable of 190mph with 215bhp, giving it the best power to weight ratio of any production motorbike at that time
Very much track-inspired with fearsome acceleration and race bike handling
