Vehicle history:
The 500 E was dubbed the “König der Autobahn” (which means king of the highway in English) in the 1990s. It was considered revolutionary, as this sports car was the first standard saloon to join the phalanx of the sports car elite. Some engine parts were developed at Porsche in Zuffenhausen, Germany and final assembly also took place at the Porsche plant in Stuttgart. Painted in blue-black and very well equipped, this “wide-body monster” is still in its original condition today, after more than thirty years. The service history is very clear and documents the very well-kept condition of the car. Numerous Mercedes-Benz service invoices are on hand, so that the new owner can look forward to relaxed or fast-paced trips. The 500 E certainly still enjoys genuine cult status today.
