Being a standard model, it was built as an entry level model, so didn't have the chrome trim on the flanks and bonnet.
If you look at the front wings, it only had a horn grill on the drivers side.
Inside the headliner is simply in the centre section of the roof and the most beautiful 3 spoke steering wheel, more akin to a much earlier bug.

Steve poured his heart into Stan, and his efforts shine through in every detail. When he decided to sell it, his best mate Darren, jumped at the chance to own it.
Steve built the car to Darren's spec, who continues to cherish and preserve this classic gem.

It also has new rubber flooring throughout that speaks to practicality and elegance.

At Cleanfest, Scotland's biggest car show, Stan stood proudly among an impressive array of Lamborghinis, Cosworths, Porsches, and other automotive legends. It was here that Stan was awarded a prestigious accolade, a testament to his exceptional restoration and timeless appeal.
