This Land Rover Series 1 80'' has been referred to as a 'true enthusiast/ collector's piece'.
The canvas is in a fantastic condition and in my opinion it is a beautifully restored example, with a vintage fire extinguisher adding to its authenticity.
Originally an RAF vehicle, which became a civilian vehicle in 1968.
The Land Rover became family owned, where it was used until the late 1970's and then parked up until 2008. The son of the owner then started its dismantle and restoration. However, like with most projects, he ran out of steam and gave up.
The restoration was then started again, in August 2020, by its new owner.
Within the history folder is a set of spare keys, a Buff logbook, Heritage Certificate, lots and lots of invoices and an owners manual.
The V5 document is present and is registered historic, therefore benefits from tax and MOT exemption.
