Description
This stunning Horizon Blue '57 Oval Beetle, was owned by one family and was a Canadian export sold by one of the first main dealers to a farmer who kept the car its whole life. It was only on the road for the first 10 years. Then got put away into a storage unit.
It was then discovered by a chap in the UK, who brought it back to England and did a pan-off-preservation restoration.
The car needed no welding at all and has not had any since it was cleaned up and brought back to life using every original clip bolt and rubber where possible.
Even the wheels are still original paint! :0
The interior has been lovingly restored, as if it's just left the factory. It’s also a factory standard oval with deluxe beltline trim from new.
There’s more info that comes with the car with photos showing and explaining it's history in more detail.
It drives beautifully, as can be seen in our video driveout linked.
It's actually owned by Paul Irving or Irvs Restoration and is part of his very special car collection. It's on the market for just £17, 500... which is incredible value, for such a lovely car.
We're based in North Devon, so a great place to come and visit for a day or two while viewing this car.
