The Special Edition SP10 is a tribute to Aston Martin's racing successes. After all, they always have to be hard-won, but the hardest of all is on the Nordschleife at the Nürburgring. In recent years, the V8 Vantage GT4 racing cars have achieved two class victories and four podium finishes in the demanding 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. To honour this achievement and to give the V8 Vantage S an even more intense racing feel, Aston Martin has created the limited ‘SP10 Special Edition’ for a small circle of its customers.
The SP10 Special Edition is based on the same components as Aston Martin's GT4 racing cars. The SP10 also has the powerful 4. 7-litre V8 engine. 436 hp of power and 490 Nm of torque deliver rapid acceleration and are accompanied by a rich sound thanks to a special sports exhaust system. Equipped with an automated 7-speed ‘Sportshift II’ gearbox, the SP10 is equally attractive for purists and technology enthusiasts. The powerful and race-proven brake system, wider tyres and more direct steering complete this incomparable power package.
This example was given to a lady as a Christmas present in 2013. Over the past 11 years, the Sportroadster has been regularly driven 3, 000 kilometres per year and has been maintained and serviced by the Aston Martin garage. The vehicle is immaculate and only has a barely perceptible dent at the rear.
The SP10 special model with a special paint finish and upgraded interior in a limited edition was only produced 384 times. This makes this sports roadster one of the collector's vehicles of the future.
With 437 hp under the bonnet and a 1000 watt sound system behind it, you can expect performance at all levels.
