With only 42, 000 miles showing in the hands of one owner from new, this Escort is in remarkable condition for its age. Purchased by Mr Roy Johnson from T. C. Harrison Ford dealers in Rotherham in May 1999, the Escort still has its original dealer number plates and keyring.
The exterior is in great condition - the paintwork is even and shiny with only very minor signs of age and the interior is in a similarly super condition with very little signs of wear.
The Escort was recommissioned last year following a period of storage when it was treated to a service and new cambelt, which is stamped in the service book. The car also boasts four new matching tyres.
The car drove very well for our video. The engine is smooth and there were no unwanted warning lights on the dashboard.
Central locking and electric windows, power steering, sunroof, and original radio cassette - all of which work.
In addition to the original book pack and service book, we also have a small number of bills for work undertaken over the years, original Escort Flight brochure, and previous MOT certificates to back up the car’s mileage.
Comes with two additional spare keys.
Overall, an ideal starter classic in very good condition offered at no reserve.
