Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Bertone with Certificate of Origin
Beautiful and neat Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Bertone from the year of manufacture 1964 with an odometer reading of 06651 kilometers from France.
At the Geneva Motor Show in 1962, Alfa Romeo introduced the 2600, the successors to the 2000 Berlina, Spider and Sprint. The 2600 versions, just like the old Alfa Romeo 6Cs, were equipped with an engine with six cylinders in line. The cylinder capacity was 2584 cc, the maximum power for the Berlina was approximately 130 hp and for the Spider and the Sprint 145 hp. The chassis of the 2000 was taken over more or less unchanged. Once again, the bodywork of the Berlina was built by Alfa Romeo itself, the Spider by Touring and the Sprint by Bertone.
Of the total of only 6, 999 2, 600s produced, this Alfa is one of these copies.
This 2600 Sprint was registered on a Dutch license plate in 2020 and has been in the possession of its current owner since then.
In 2020/ 2021, the car was completely overhauled and restored, including the engine, gearbox and bodywork, etc. Invoices for this are also available with the car.

At that time, the Italians were already far ahead of the other brands in terms of technology/ electronics, such as with the electrically operated windows which are also on this 2600 Sprint and function.
This Alfa Romeo 2600 in very good condition is a feast for the eyes. The paintwork is still in very good condition 4 years later.
