Porsche 911 T 2. 4 MFi Coupe 1972
Presented in Red with Black full leather, history portfolio from new, Becker radio, alloy wheels. Porsche comfort package. This is an unusually lovely matching numbers 911T supplied new by Max Hoffman Porsche New York and acquired by her last owner 9 years ago via a European classic porsche specialist. She retains all her original tools, factory hand books and a very extensive documented history dating back to her days in the USA including her original Porsche service history book and Porsche heritage certificate confirming she is an all matching numbers low mileage, low ownership, factory 5 speed oil Klappe 911T.
We have driven this 911 some distance and she performs correctly with the benefit of being a factory Mfi 5 speed example with comfort package and the advantage of a recent service including 4 new tyres and Mot test despite being exempt. The original Becker radio works and the heater is hot too !
This has been very much a cherished and correct matching numbers with all its factory books, service books and history very rare factory Oil Klappe ( out side oil filler ) classic 911.
The Oil Klappe ( outside oil filler ) is a model Porsche made for 9 months. Porsche relocated the oil tank from its position behind the right rear wheel to in front of it. This had the effect of improving weight distribution and thus, handling. To facilitate filling of the oil tank, Porsche installed an oil filler door. Unfortunately, this unique design was scrapped after less than one year because people were putting petrol in the oil tank hence it being unusual to find an Oil Klapper with its original factory engine as this one has.
Full log book and MOT test and Road tax exempt.
