A Rare Opportunity to Acquire an Exceptionally Original, Unmolested & Very Desirable 1993 Defender 90 Short Wheel Base Station Wagon.

The vehicle was first registered 1st August 1993. It is a very clean and honest example, the seats has always had seat covers fitted and so they are in excellent condition. Only 1 Previous owner. First owner had the vehicle for 27 years, which is probably why it is such a clean original and well looked after example. Finished in it's original colour of Montpellier Red.
It has a warranted mileage of 130, 000 miles. Previous mots to date which shows the very small increase in mileage every year. It comes complete with old mots and its original owners manual.
Genuine factory 7 seater.
The bulkhead is exceptionally solid and original, in fact as good as we have ever seen including both original footwells. No welding has been done and non is required.
The dash is unmarked with no cracks or sun damage anywhere. Seats are very good.
The load area is clean with a rubbed rubber mat and 4 individual fold down seats.
UNDER THE BONNET
One of the best original engine bays we have seen on a 200 TDI Defender 90 with the correct defender engine.
Original paint to engine block. The engine which runs and drives perfectly with plenty of power and it much better than its predecessor.
The vehicle is on the original chassis which shows no signs of repairs and is in great condition.
ON THE ROAD
The factory fitted engine busts into life on the turn of the key. It is apparent that this is a vehicle that has been maintained and covered low mileage it runs as quiet and smooth as any Land Rover that we have ever had.
A joy to drive and such fun, the vehicle will be supplied with a full 12-month MOT. Four wheel drive and low range engage, as they should. The gears change up and down as they should it has a very quiet gearbox which is a good sign of its light use and good maintenance over the years. The vehicle will also come fully serviced and has recently had two new tyres, engine service, trailing arm bushes, brake pads to the front and rear, park switch, rocker cover gasket and seals, wiper blades. Any other work on previous mots has also been done including a new drop arm, track rod ends and lights. We have also replaced some of the bushes on the suspension.
SUMMARY
This Land Rover has obviously been cared for and cherished by its owners and no expense spared on maintenance.
It is a very solid example that requires no work and is ready to use and enjoy.
