James had begun concentrating on the manufacture of two-stroke-powered lightweights in the 1930s
Its first post-war models were the ML, a 122cc Villiers-engined machine derived from a successful military design, and an autocycle
Autocycles were immensely popular in the years immediately following WW2, offering the prospect of affordable two-wheeled transport in a period of severe austerity
The James Superlux autocycle was produced between 1950 and 1953 and was powered by a 98cc Villiers 2F Junior de Luxe engine enclosed by pressed-steel panels
From the attached Tax Disc, it appears to have last been on the road in 1990
In unrestored condition, some recommissioning will be required. Appears to be complete
UK-registered and supplied with a current V5
When restored, it would be a great 'fun' vehicle for the Goodwood Revival
