Sometimes we can offer a classic car that we ourselves are amazed by. We do not only mean the stylish appearance or the wonderful driving characteristics, but in this case especially the sublime and perfect condition of this beautiful Triumph TR250. This completely body-off restored Triumph TR250 was originally produced in 1967 and registered in America in 1968. After that, the car came to the Netherlands in 1995 and has been maintained with great care and love ever since. This is not only evident from the large number of maintenance invoices (fully present from 1994!).
It is difficult to find the right words for the exceptionally beautiful and perfect condition of this Triumph TR250. The stylish colour Royal Blue is a very good match with the black leather interior. The previous owner had the seats with headrests installed, the original seats are of course present. The car was completely and professionally body-off restored in the Netherlands in 2012. A completely new chassis (new-old-stock) was mounted and the bodywork was repainted. All invoices for this are present and there is also an extensive photo report of the restoration.
This car is in perfect top condition. The paintwork has a beautiful deep shine and the various chrome and trim parts are also in shiny new condition. Of course, the various body parts fit together very well. The stylish chrome spoke rims are a perfect combination with this car. As an extra accessory, a chrome luggage rack has been mounted. This wonderful classic roadster is equipped with a luxurious dark blue mohair convertible top.
The interior is in completely new condition. This applies not only to the black leather seats or carpet upholstery, but also to all other interior parts. The seats are particularly comfortable and feel sturdy. The beautiful wooden dashboard is completely new and the wooden steering wheel (Moto Lita) is a perfect combination. The various chrome and trim parts in the interior are also still in very good and sublime condition.
As already mentioned, this Triumph TR250 has been perfectly maintained. A large part of the maintenance history is extensively available with various maintenance invoices. For optimum operational reliability, the car is also equipped with an extra electric cooling fan. When we open the hood, a neatly maintained engine compartment shines towards us. Here too, it is immediately clear that the car has been very well maintained and with great care. And that is also noticeable while driving. The car drives particularly wonderfully. The 6-cylinder engine delivers sufficient power for comfortable and sporty driving and also produces a beautiful sound. The present overdrive provides extra comfort while driving. The brakes feel solid and firm and the car steers particularly well.
Without a doubt, this is a perfect and completely new Triumph TR250 that is waiting for a next enthusiast.
