2002 Lotus Elise 111S Finished in stunning metallic cobalt blue over black half hide interior.
Originally supplied by Lotus main dealers Westover Cars to Mr Organ on the 29th August 2002, this Lotus remained in the same family for the next 15 years with the car passing between son and father in late 2004. The last keeper purchased the car directly from Mr Organ in February 2017 and has continued to enjoy the car for the past 7 years until the loss of the cars garage prompted its sale.
The original service book shows servicing has been carried at the following intervals 899 miles, 11048 miles, 20211 miles, 24448 miles, 31128 miles, 33842 miles, 37137 miles, 39883 miles and 44464 miles, with the last service being carried out at Lotus Silverstone at which time the head gasket was replaced with the head being skimmed and pressure tested at the same time.
Having thoroughly inspected the car we elected to carry out a major service including cambelt / water pump, and to replace the cooling radiator as this is looking past its best. Once completed the car was fully detailed by Dashing Detailing in preparation for its new owner.
The car is fitted with a couple of choice upgrades including a rather fruity sounding Janspeed exhaust (not to loud) and a hurricane air filter adding some nice induction roar when under hard acceleration.
The bodywork and alloy wheels are in fine order with a deep gloss finish and without any scratches whilst the fibreglass body is free from crazing or star cracks. The black soft top fits snuggly and operates perfectly. The interior is in equally fine order with blemish free plastics, an unworn steering wheel and seats that remain stain and mark free with the exception of some small wear to the drivers bolster as is to be expected.
Supplied with both keys and original book pack, the car comes supplied with a Motor Check certificate confirming the car is HPI clear and the milage verified.
The Lotus 111S is a fantastic fun drivers’ car with sublime handling and we have no doubt it will delight its next owner.
