Plunger-framed D1 assembled from an almost complete box of bits
D1 Bantam production finished in 1963 so many of the parts may be earlier
Powered by BSA's remarkable little 123cc, single-cylinder, 2-stroke
The owner at the time decided to assemble the Bantam in the style of a tradesman's vehicle
The 'Bakers Bike' conversion is based on a fabricated steel frame with spring-supported outrigger wheels
'Florence' will require some recommissioning prior to returning to the road
