Meet Alfie, a stunning 1964 VW split-screen campervan, occasionally known as Henry. Originally hailing from California, Alfie’s first role was in a monastery, transporting monks around the local area. He made his way to the UK around 2005 and has been lovingly cared for ever since. Since 2020, Alfie has called Cumbria home. He’s travelled to festivals across North Yorkshire and chauffeured wedding parties around the Lake District. When not in use, Alfie is kept safe and dry in his garage. He boasts a solid MOT and service history, along with an alarm and immobiliser for added peace of mind. Inside, you’ll find a rock 'n' roll bed, a diesel heater to keep things cosy, and a leisure battery powering a TV and wine cooler. The TV is cleverly hidden and pops up from the unit with a button by the heater controls. Alfie’s mechanical upgrades include a new exhaust, fan belt, and an engine tune for smooth running. He’s also had a new fuel tank installed, along with replacement fuel pipes. The brakes have been fine-tuned for better performance, and a new oil seal has been fitted to the engine.
