1980 MGB Roadster. We took this lovely old car as a trade in. The last owner restored it around 10 years ago and spent a small fortune on it. Everything was either replaced, or refurbished. He done approx 100 mile round trip to come and see us. We have test driven it and its superb and would go anywhere. We have a large history file full of receipts for thousands spent and the current V5. Was converted to chrome bumpers during the restoration
Body - MG Roadster. Original shell which as mentioned was restored 10 years ago and still looks great today. Any rot was cut of and replaced with new metal at the time and the whole car painted. The paintwork still looks superb and the car is nice and straight along the sides. Theres a small bubble reappeared on the bottom of one door but its very minor and the car has definitely stood the test of time. Underbonnet area is superb and as clean as any you will find. Rood is very good. Looks to have been replaced as well during the restortaion.
Mechanics - Car starts and runs no problem either hot or cold. No smoke or nasty rattles. As mentioned everything was replaced or refurbished during the restoration. Brakes clutch and gearbox are all good and overdrive works. Car feels nice when driving it with no clunks or rattles. Its been properly put together and looked after.
Interior - White Interior which may divide the crowd but ib very good order. Small mark on base of drivers seat. Matching door panels and kick panels. MG logo embroidered into seat backs. Matching red seat belts.
Wheels - Minlite style alloys with good tyres all round.
