Designed by Lino Tonti and introduced in 1971, based on the V7 Roadster but lighter with a new frame and clip-on bars
Allegedly the fastest production bike of the time until the Kawasaki Z1 was launched in 1972
Sporty 'Café Racer' looks and good performance made the V7 Sport a great success for Moto Guzzi with various celebrity owners including Mike Hailwood
The model was later replaced by the 850 Le Mans
This 1972 US-market example is presented in very good restored condition and in running order
Originally registered new in California and complete with its last US-title
Restored in the US between 2001 and 2003 with documented maintenance since then
