Cylinder Head Specification : Large Port F3 fully ported & polished, bronze valve guides, hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel, 1. 625 inlet valves, 1. 4 exhaust valves, QED race valve springs, QED 450 Camshafts, ARP head studs, ARP steel cam cap studs, steel narrow pad cam-followers, top hat shims, Kent Vernier Pulleys.

Restored and rebuilt after a 23 year period in storage in 1998 the original RHD S4 Elan comes complete with original green log book and continuous history from 1998.
Having covered circa 12, 000 miles since its rebuild this Lotus Elan S4 FHC presents and drives really well with a great patina – not too perfect to be scared to use but perfect enough to be proud of ! .
Quite possibly the ultimate Fast Road Elan with a 2018 rolling road report showing 187. 5 bhp on file. Despite its Race Car looks we believe it has not been used in competition or track use however it would make an ideal track day, sprint or even race car.
Fully recommissioned & serviced 2024 after 3 years ( post Covid ) in storage and fitted with a new safety devices ½ cage, Willians Harnesses ( dated 2029 ) & new Toyo tyres it is ready to enjoy
