MORRIS MINOR 1000 CONVERTIBLE 1961. For sale on behalf of a customer who purchased this as a saloon 8 years ago in order to convert as a project. The car was dismantled and fully professionally converted into the convertible you now see using a specialist kit. Any corroded areas of the body and underside also received attention by welding in correct new replacement repair sections. The body was then fully prepared and resprayed in the original colour of Dove Grey. A complete new interior trim kit was supplied by Newton Commercial and fitted along with a new hood. The suspension and brakes were fully overhauled and a new stainless steel exhaust and new tyres also fitted.
Sadly the finished car has been used little during the last few years and remained in the garage. The owner, who owns several other classic cars, has decided to offer the Morris for sale. The car has just been serviced and fitted with new timing chain and water pump. It is all ready for a new owner to get out and enjoy the Autumn sunshine!
