Could this be the best Lipstick Edition in the world? This incredible example is in original, unrestored and outstanding condition. The car itself has only covered 12, 800 miles from new. Only 1254 ‘Lipstick Editions’ were every built and this is the believed to be the only example in the UK and there are said to be around 50 left worldwide.
So, what’s the history behind the car? It was supplied new by Villers Motor Sales Inc in Vienna, West Virginia. Manufactured on the 25th of March 1976, five days ahead of schedule. The Lincoln has a superb specification and was ordered with White custom Landau vinyl roof, power moon roof, White paint stripe, C-6 automatic transmission, Traction-Lok differential, Headlamp Convenience Group, radial white wall tyres, speed control, tilt steering column, reclining passenger seat, White premium body moulding, rear window electric defroster, AM/ FM/ Quad 8 track stereo, interval wipers, Luxury Group, Security Lock and Appearance Protection Group, right hand remote control mirror, power lock and aluminium wheels.
The bodywork is quite simply outstanding, as is the paintwork, chrome, roof and wonderful original upholstery. The carpets are still as brand new, the leather trim beautiful and the headlining, door cards and dashboard first class.
