Discovered by Ant Anstead, this Alfa Sud was carefully locked away in a garage for 31 years. It’s an incredible find – an authentic car bought new with no aftermarket add-ons and laid untouched, awaiting rediscovery
Verified matching paperwork and matching numbers along with a documented historical service history. Ant and the team approached this 'resurrection' with white gloves to retain as much of the car's originality as possible
The engine has been gently brought out of its 31-year slumber and fully serviced, including new fuel pump, points, coil and condensers, new filters and fresh fluids. The engine has been dry-iced and the suspension has also been refurbished and brakes reconditioned
Unlike so many Alfa Suds, this one has escaped rust as it’s been so carefully stored away from the British weather for its entire life
The paint work has been corrected to retain the original paint, with minimal welds only where structurally required
The interior has been reconditioned, including the acquisition of original fabric where needed
