I have been asked to sell this lovely Jaguar XK140 FHC for the elderly gentleman who is giving up classic cars unfortunately.
It was fully restored a few years ago and has a comprehensive file of receipts plus a spread sheet of expenses totalling over £28500!
It was fully stripped, repaired bodily and re-painted, engie rebuilt with new pistons etc, everything imaginable was either restored, refurbished or replaced. Power steering was added and it was re-trimmed.
It has not been used for a couple of years and starage has allowed the chrome parts to show some rusting although these will polish out to a degree plus there is a small amount of paint bubbling in localised places namely the o/ s/ f wing by the sidelight and under the rear light on the n/ s.
She starts and drives very well although the brakes could need a re-bleed as they are a little soft despite all being replaced.
It's a sensibly priced car and needs to be seen to be appreciated and to see the huge poential. No PX.
