Offered for slae on behalf of the current owner, this fantastic condition MGB V8 Roadster. HOA 484N has covered 51, 000 miles, proving to be an ideal long-distance touring, usable classic. The MG has toured all over the UK and has been extensively used and enjoyed by the previous owner.
Mechanically HOA 484N is very strong with a super fit high performance V8 engine with Holley Carb and Offenhauser intake manifold. The LT77 gearbox with overdrive is in excellent order and the MG has recently been treated to new suspension springs and has excellent brakes and a stainless-steel exhaust system. This is a car that must be driven to be appreciated, it really is exceptional and clearly been rebuilt to an excellent standard in terms of mechanicals.
Body wise the MG is also impressive having had a comprehensive restoration in 2008 that included new inner and outer sills, wing panels and jacking points. The MG V8 has also been fitted with an MGC bonnet and ten years on from restoration the bodyshell is excellent with superb panel gaps, shut lines and straight panels. The paintwork is of a lovely standard and retains a deep, bright and fresh finish. Chrome work is of a very good standard, the unmarked wheels have been replaced in recent years and so has the hood. The interior is very clean with Black leather seats with Red piping, smart carpets with MG over mats and door cards and dashboard are all in lovely order. The engine bay presents well, as does the boot area.
