WE ARE SELLING THIS JAGUAR XJR CONVERTIBLE AS A LIGHT PROJECT DUE TO BEING STORED FOR 2 1/ 2 YEARS AND A LITTLE NEGLECTED. THE PRICE IS NON NEGOTIABLE AND THERE IS NO WARRANTY IMPLIED OR GIVEN AND THE CAR IS SOLD AS SEEN AND WILL NEED TO BE TRAILERED AWAY DUE TO STEERING FAULT !!!!!! WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE CAR : The Jag was originally black but was repainted in the Burgundy colour it is now, although it still states black on the V5 so this needs to be changed when applying for a new V5 in your name, or of course we can do that for you. Comes with some service history, the Jag has a private number plate C5 OJR which will be staying on. The Jag runs and drIves as it should with no issues gearbox changes smoothly and pulls like a train with the 4 litre supercharged engine, the underside of the Jag is in good condition with the only evidence of some small welding repairs around the familiar front jacking points, the electric roof works as it should with the only problem being the nearside rear window stuck down due to the cable sniping the last time the roof was operated. the Jag will also need a new battery due to being left connected when parked up (she fires up straight away when a booster pack is connected) there is also an airbag light on. the front sub frame mounts have also been replaced within the last few months as these had perished. The reason the Jag needs to be trailered away is because the lower steering coupling needs to be replaced due to the retaining bolt snapping and the steering rack being left loose while investigating. THE JAG IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE OF THIS BUT WILL BE OK TO DRIVE ONTO TRAILER.
