EXTERIOR
Presenting beautifully in Basalt Black Metallic this manual, non-sunroof C4S looks every bit the low mileage of just 26k. The paintwork is deeply glossy and looking along both sides the car is free from any unsightly carpark dings. The Xenon headlights are clear with no discolouration, and the rear lights and reflector panel are also perfectly presented. The 18-inch Turbo Look alloy wheels are unmarked with the correct C4S centre badges and Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round. We have sold a number of low mileage 911s over the years but this has to be the finest 996 we’ve seen; a collector-quality example in excellent unmodified condition.
INTERIOR
The black leather upholstery is exceptional throughout with only the lightest of wrinkling on the driver’s bolster to report, all perfectly in line with the car’s very low mileage. The seats are heated and fully electric with driver’s seat memory, additionally boasting the Porsche crest embossed into the headrests. Other factory-specified interior options include the Bose sound system, CD changer, and PCM2 with satnav, etc.
Glancing across the dash both the fascia and switchgear still look really fresh, with other commonly worn items such as the steering wheel and gear knob also in pristine condition. The carpets are unmarked throughout and are well protected in the footwells by the original Porsche overmats; even the front boot area appears to have seen little use.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Barely run-in with a mere 26k miles under its belt this manual C4S performs exceptionally well on test, its 3. 6-litre flat-six sounding fantastic through the switchable factory Sports exhaust. The car has always been maintained to a high standard and has only ever been serviced by Porsche; the last service was carried out only 500 miles ago in March 2023 at Porsche Centre Swindon. Despite its very low mileage the IMS bearing has already been upgraded for future peace of mind; the clutch was also replaced at this time and has seen only 2, 500 miles of use since.
HISTORY FILE
This surely unrepeatable C4S was first registered in April 2004. Supplied new by Porsche Centre Nottingham it has now driven just 26, 128 miles in the hands of only 4 registered keepers. The car boasts full Porsche main dealer service history (detailed below) fully stamped in the original maintenance booklet with every accompanying Porsche invoice also present. The last service was carried out only 500 miles ago, and the IMS bearing was upgraded little over 2, 500 miles ago.
