We’re excited to be offered this 1956 Lotus Mk VI in excellent condition. It benefits from the Elva overhead inlet valve conversion on its Ford engine and Buckler gears.
Chassis number 51 was restored in the late 1980’s and retains a beautiful patina. Ignore the mileage as this cannot be guaranteed
Ideal for historic racing, or the thrill of owning a piece of Lotus history.

The Lotus Mk VI was Colin Chapman’s first production car, albeit they were supplied in kit form to their owners. As its basis was a tubular space frame chassis that weighted only 25kg and the total weight of the car was around 435kg. A variety of engines and gearboxes were used in the cars, dependent on owner preferences.
One of the purest Lotus driving experiences you will ever have.
Like all our cars, this Lotus will be supplied fully checked over and serviced and with a new MOT. It will also be HPI checked and if sold for use within the UK, will come with a limited warranty.
