The Hornet Special was a brisk performer, with its 1. 3 Litre overhead camshaft engine fitted with twin SU carburettors.
The later models had the benefit of an enlarged engine - Now of 1. 6 Litre and this particular car was only the second 14hp chassis laid down and was exhibited at the Olympia Motor Show in October 1934.
