This is a fabulous low mileage, low ownership example with a substantial history file.
The car has covered just 31, 000 miles from new with an excellent service history, previous services recorded at 800, 1782, 3522, 4310, 7300, 8796, 9922, 11641, 12926, 14180, 14789, 17509, 27890 and 29000 miles. In addition to the stamped service book we have an A4 box file containing a collection of invoices detailing work carried out, every previous MOT etc. Needless to say, with such low mileage and comprehensive maintenance history, the car drives beautifully and is a real pleasure to be behind the wheel.
The current owner is a repeat customer of ours, now in his 70's, and uses the car only for car shows keeping it garaged and out of the weather at all times. The owner has been most fastidious during his two year ownership and has gone through the car with a fine toothed comb ensuring that everything is working as it should, including the air conditioning.
Since placing this advertistement we have had the Granada club in contact and they tell us there are only 11 of this model left on the road.
On the road the car performs superbly, the engine is quiet and sweet and pulls very well, the auto gearbox changes smoothly and the whole car feels very tight and together. A trip down memory lane for sure but still easily capable of keeping pace with modern traffic and effortless on the motorway.
Finished in very attractive silver metallic with black leather upholstery, the entire car is in quite excellent order throughout with barely a blemish to be found the interior in particular appearing virtually unused, the black leather Scorpio seats - we all remember them - are exceptionally sumptuous, like mobile armchairs !
Specification of the period to include ice cold air conditioning, cruise control, electric seats, heated seats, electric windows front and rear, electric sunroof tilt/ slide, electric mirrors, central locking, alarm and immobiliser, original stereo working correctly, headlamps wash/ wipe. fog lamps, 16 inch alloy wheels etc. The current owner recently fitted a towbar for trips to the local tip with a small trailer, but it has never been used. The owner is happy to include his Tom Tom Sat Nav in the sale, together with a dash cam.
