Formed in 1958, Bultaco was a Spanish manufacturer of 2-stroke motorcycles
Although best known for road and road racing bikes, Bultaco's greatest success came in off-road competition winning the Scottish Six Day Trial multiple times and many other European titles
They teamed up with Irish trials legend, Sammy Miller, to produce a light weight 2-stroke trials bike that revolutionised the world of trials riding
According to information provided by the UK Bultaco Club, this bike was delivered to Comerfords on the 4th of October 1982 and then sold to Japanese rider Toshi Nishiyama (the first Japanese rider to take part in the SSDT and the ISDT)
The 198B is a rare model built for the French and UK markets with only 230 produced
This example has been faithfully restored and is in superb condition
UK-registered with a current V5C and some history
