Description
Rawles Motorsport is delighted to offer this stunningly specified, late Austin Healey 3000 MkIII. Finished in Healey Blue metallic with Ivory duotone, Aluminium silver centre lock wire wheels and with Navy wet weather gear. JBC 738D is a later Phase II model of the MkIII, despatched from Austin’s Abingdon factory on 23rdMarch 1966.
Fully restored in the mid 1990s and then further repainted in 2008 by Chiltern Sports and Prestige, JBC is a very presentable Healey which has been completely adored by the last owner of 14 years. The car is in very good cosmetic condition with just 20, 000 miles since the 2008 paintworks. The car retains its original engine, gearbox and axle.
We have serviced JBC annually since 2010 without fail and the owner has spared no expense to keep this Healey always ready to go. In June 2024 we have just carried out a major service amounting to a little over 20 hours including core plug replacement, coolant change, brake service, full grease up, ignition service, replacement of suspension ball joints and bushes plus all the usual fluids and items of care.
Sold with MOT, new service, British Motor Heritage Certificate, large paperwork history file, two sets of keys and MOT history.
