The Riley Elf was far superior to every other sort of Mini. The main stylistic differences over the Mini were the addition of the lengthened tail and specific upright grilles, the extended tail made the Elf some 8. 5” longer than the Mini, although it hardly increased the carrying capacity. There was much more chromework on the outside including the unique chrome grille that lifts with the bonnet. Inside, the cabins were much plusher with standard leather seat facings, better seat padding, full-width wooden dash with glove box compartments. A very nice place to be and a world apart from the standard Mini, almost like a small Bentley or Rolls-Royce.
Offered here is a lovely 1965 Riley Elf presented in Maroon with a contrasting White roof and a brand new Red interior. Subject to an exceptional restoration with £7, 801. 64 spent on parts alone. Every part of the car has been painstakingly gone through and either reconditioned or replaced with a new part. The Elf is in remarkable condition throughout, a real testament to the vendor who restored it.
The receipts of the parts used on the restoration are all evidenced in the healthy history file.
