1977 Ferrari 308 GTB Dry-Sump - For Sale
As one of the most recognisable Ferraris of all time, launched in 1975 was the successor to the Dino 246, the 308. Powered by the 2. 9l V8 and fed by 4 carburettors, this car produced the classic soundtrack of Modena's finest. This version is one of the very favourable earlier steel bodied cars equipped with the dry-sump and carburettors, succeeding the rare fiberglass variants. This car also comes with an original set of 14” wheels, fitted with tyres.
One of only 211 UK supplied RHD cars, and 35 cars with the factory deep-spoiler, covering 87591 miles, this beautiful example comes in a really superb condition, having much work done throughout its different ownership over the years. Much of the recent work was completed by Migliore Cars including belt change and service, carb set up and brake work including a new master cylinder. The engine was rebuilt at Modena Engineering at 60594 and had a full interior restoration to the correct spec over 10 years ago. The underneath appears brand new after having the suspension rebuilt with new shockers and springs and also a new stainless steel exhaust.
This car also comes with a very large 58 page service and work history file. It has its original service supply booklet, warranty owner booklet, worldwide service dealer booklet, radio booklet, Ferrari maintenance service booklet and the Ferrari part book all in their original pouch. Along with all this it also has 14 main dealer and Ferrari specialist stamps. The original tool kit, jack bag and both sets of keys are also included.
