Description
1956 Velocette Venom 500cc motorcycle, attached to a Garrard sidecar. The vendor is currently awaiting an “Age Related” registration document from the DVLA, having submitted all the relevant dating information via the VOC. We are informed the engine (dating to around 1960) has a “squish head” twin pluggs with new electronic B T H magneto and alton electric starter, it has a 5 speed gearbox with Nova gears installed and double sided twin leading front brake. It also has the large four gallon Thruxton petrol tank with 36mm concentric carburettor. Whilst the engine runs the bike requires a little work to complete such as wiring and setting up of the sidecar alignment. The Garrard sidecar has been completely rebuilt and looks like it just requires the trim, roll bar and mudguard fitting. All those components are available. Unfortunately the previous owner didn’t get to enjoy his creation before he passed away. It was his labour of love over many years that will require a small amount of finishing.
