Looking at selling my personal 1983 Porsche 944 Coupe 2479cc that I have owned for 12 years and has been dry stored for the last 6 years. Door and bonnet gaps all nice and even. Finished in bright white with brown pinstripe velour interior trim (some rips to front seats but original). Cracking to dashboard. Nice original black 'Cookie Cutter' wheels finish off the retro 80's look. Rear valance is a nice touch.
Mileage stopped working years ago, but I have probably only covered 1000 in the last 12 years!!.
2 keys plus 2 alarm fobs. Clifford Alarm & immobiliser fitted.
HPI CLEAR.
Now MOT & TAX exempt and correctly stated on V5 as 'Historic Vehicle'.
Personalised plate ESV 953 (valued at £1500) included in the sale of this lovely 944.
Runs & drives well with nice clutch and gear change. Just replaced the oil in the diff.
By no means perfect (it is 40 years old after all!!) but a usable 944 that will be cheap to use!! The front brakes are binding a bit (the rears all good as had new calipers a few years ago.) Do not know when the timing belt was replaced so would be prudent to replace it.
After a few maintenance items addressed (a very light re-commission after long term storage) and you have a very usable, reliable, retro & classy machine!!!.
Happy to take you for a spin up the road but NO TEST PILOTS PLEASE.
